Everyone guesses your answer before you give it.
Nothing anyone says is written down. There is no account and no server.
Agree one thing now: is anyone allowed to bring any of this up tomorrow?
That was Warm.
The good version of this evening already exists and it is not an app — it is the moment two hours in when somebody asks a real question and the table goes quiet. Everything that tries to manufacture that moment does it by pointing at one person and demanding a confession, which is an interrogation, and an interrogation gets you the shortest true-ish answer available.
So the exposure moves. When four people have to guess what you will say before you say it, they are the ones on the line. You are the answer key, and you get the last word about who actually knows you. Being known is the prize instead of the price.
The rest is pacing. You cannot open on the darkest card — the rounds are gated and the game stops between them to ask. Colleagues and a table of people who have just met get two rounds, not three, because the deep questions are not written for them. And the skip belongs to whoever is on the card, so leaving one alone is an ordinary thing that happens several times a night rather than an admission.
Nowhere. The page is static, there is no account and no server to talk to: names, scores and which cards have come up sit in this browser so a reload does not end the night, and no answer anybody gives is ever typed in or stored. Sharing a deck means putting questions inside a link — never anything anyone said.
Question 219 of a list of ideas, built end to end. The rest of them.
